New Delhi, April 10 (IANS) The fifth leg of the Tata Tea Arsenal Soccer Stars will see more than 40 teams from various schools in the region competing at the Ambedkar Stadium, here over the weekend. The tournament, an initiative of Tata Tea in association with English Premier League Arsenal will select fifteen top players aged 10-15 players will be held with the technical support of the Delhi Soccer Association (DSA).
The tournament, which will be a mix of league and knockout matches will have seven a side players and each match will be played for a 16 minutes. Each team will play two games and from each group one team will qualify.
The two finalists will go on to compete in the national finals with fourteen other finalists from different cities across the country.
The tournament will be observed over by Jamshid Nassiri with an objective of finding promising kids showing exceptional talent in the game.
