Swimsuit model Marisa Miller has been named as the spokesperson for NFL

New York, Oct 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The National Football League in the United States has announced that the former Sports Illustrated model, Marisa Miller is the new spokesperson for the organization.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Marisa’s first responsibility is to promote the upcoming encounter between the San Francisco 49ers and the Denver Broncos in London. The NFL is the world’s richest league.
However critics of the move argue that the announcement was not made at the right time. The game has been hit by the current revelation of Brett Favre’s alleged indecent photos to a former Jets sideline reporter.
The model is set to appear in both print and electronic media to promote the league. Marisa will remain the NFL’s spokesperson until at least the 2011 Super Bowl.
The model is a long time 49ers fan and she has posed several times for the team. Dubbed the “Super Fan” by her admirers, the model is set to bring a new excitement to the game.
Whether her choice is good or bad, the model sure has a huge responsibility in her hand currently, especially being appointed right in the middle of the Brett Favre scandal. The NFL has announced that it will launch an investigation into the scandal.
