nancy New York, Mar 2 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Supreme Court has ruled that the Hustler magazine can be sued for the nude Nancy Benoit’s pics. Earlier the court had said that the pics were a matter of “public interest and concern.” However later the appellate court overruled the earlier ruling, and instead said that, “The photographs published by [Flynt] neither relate to the incident of public concern conceptually [the murders] nor correspond with the time period during which Benoit was rendered, against her will, the subject of public scrutiny. Surely that debases the very concept of a right to privacy.”

It may be recalled that the pics in contention were taken when Nancy Benoit was just 20 years old. Her family says that Nancy wasn’t comfortable with the pictures, and she had requested that the photographs be immediately destroyed after they were taken. However they were not destroyed, and were instead published in Hustler. Larry Flynt angered a lot of people when he published nude pictures of Nancy, after her husband murdered her. Her WWE husband – Chris Benoit had murdered her in cold blood. After putting her to sleep forever, he also murdered their 7-year-old son and then also hung himself.
