Stoke City striker Fuller arrested for nightclub brawl
February 9th, 2010 - 4:39 pm ICT by ANILondon, Feb. 9 (ANI): Stoke City striker Ricardo Fuller was arrested on Sunday for his alleged involvement in a brawl at a nightclub in Staffordshire.
The 30-year-old Jamaican, who was nicked on suspicion of assault, has since been bailed pending further inquiries.
“At 1am on Sunday an incident occurred at JFK nightclub in Trinity Street, following which a 30-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of assault. He has been bailed, pending further inquiries,” The Sun quoted a Staffordshire Police spokesman, as saying.
Stoke City has declined to comment on the arrest.
In April last year, Fuller had to pay 190 pounds in fine for driving without a UK licence.
His defence had previously claimed that he was resident in Jamaica and therefore did not need a UK licence.
On that occasion, he was arrested after driving a black BMW into the Stoke City training ground. (ANI)
