Stephan Bonnar Makes A Comeback With “The Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale”

After his three straight defeats which he encountered from 2009 to early 2010, the mixed martial artist is back once again, this time with win over Igor Pokrajac in the finale of the “The Ultimate Fighter 12 “. The day saw his win in the fight over an unanimous decision. The 33 year old martial artist has made a launch back after his infamous loss against Forest Griffin.

It had almost appeared that the fighter was heading for a walk away, biding adieu to his fight career after his series of losses, but this time he has silenced the critics. His win in the finale of the reality show on a popular channel has given him his much required victory. The ace fighter was seen rebounding himself after his win against Krzysztof Soszynski. To add to that was this win. Sources claim that Stephan Bonnar was in excellent shape and that he cut his way through a tough competition that was rendered by opponent Igor Pokrajac. He took control over the situation and worked cautiously over from full guard, half guard, to side control going out for some bad shots.

However, Stephan Bonnar too received an under eye injury and Igor Pokrajac went on to give two illegal knees on Stephan Bonnar’s head. Igor Pokrajac went mad at throwing knees without even realizing where would it make them land. Steve Mazzagatti the match referee was bound to chop off one point from Igor Pokrajac’s side. Stephan Bonnar went to add two more punches on the rival Croatian’s head with referee trying to stop the fight. With just a second left the horn came up making the abrupt halt to the fight with 29-26 for Stephan Bonnar.
