Karachi, Jan 14 (IANS) The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Wednesday revised the itinerary of its home series against Sri Lanka, squeezing three One-day Internationals within four days on the request of the tourists.A PCB spokesman said that the Sri Lankans will stay in Pakistan for less than a week and will now play back-to-back One-dayers in Karachi on Jan 20 and 21 before featuring in the last game of the series on Jan 24 in Lahore.

Sri Lanka was supposed to land in Karachi on Jan 18 and play the three games on Jan 21 (Karachi), Jan 24 (Lahore) and Jan 27 (Multan) before heading for home on Juan 28.

But now the Sri Lankan team will return home Jan 25 after playing the three one-dayers within four days.

Apparently, the tour has been shortened as SLC wanted its team to be back home on Jan 25, three days before the start of a hurriedly-arranged ODI series against India there. Sri Lanka and India are to play five One-day Internationals and a Twenty20 game Jan 28-Feb 14.

Revised series schedule:
Jan 18: Sri Lanka arrive at Karachi
Jan 20: 1st ODI at Karachi
Jan 21: 2nd ODI at Karachi
Jan 24: 3rd ODI at Lahore
Jan 25: Departure
