Sri Lanka pile up 708/5 against India by lunch
November 19th, 2009 - 1:21 pm ICT by IANSAhmedabad, Nov 19 (IANS) Sri Lanka piled up 708 for five in the first innings, in reply to India’s 426, by lunch on the fourth day of the first cricket Test at Motera’s Sardar Patel Stadium here Thursday.
Mahela Jayawardene was batting on 267 and Prasanna Jayawarnede on 134 as Sri Lanka took lunch with a huge lead of 282 runs.
