Sri Lanka Board suspends Randiv for one ODI, Sangakara warned
August 18th, 2010 - 10:09 pm ICT by ANIColombo, Aug 18 (ANI): Having found its cricketers guilty in the ‘No Ball’ incident occurred in the Dambulla match the Sri Lanka Cricket Board on Wednesday decided to suspend its cricketer Suraj Randiv for an One- Day International match.
He was found guilty for throwing a ‘ No Ball’ allegedly to prevent Virendra Sehwag from completing his century in match.
Randiv will not be able to play Thursday’s match against New Zealand.
Moreover, the Sri Lanka Cricket Board also fined Dilshan by cutting his match fees for the same match and issued warning to Sri Lankan team captain Sangakara for the incident. (ANI)
