Sri Lanka beat New Zealand by 112 runs

Mumbai, March 18 (IANS) Muttiah Muralitharan took four wickets as Sri Lanka trounced New Zealand by 112 runs in their last Group A World Cup match here Friday.
Chasing a victory target of 266, New Zealand were bowled out for 153 in 35 overs. Ross Taylor was the top scorer with 33 runs.
Muralitharan was the pick of the bowlers taking four for 25. Ajantha Mendis took two wickets.
