Sri Lanka beat India by 29 runs

Nagpur, Dec 9 (IANS) Sri Lanka defeated India by 29 runs in the first Twenty20 international at the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) Ground here Wednesday.
Chasing 216 runs, India finished at 186/9 in their 20 overs. Gautam Gambhir smashed 55 off 26 balls.
Angeo Mathews and Sanath Jayasuriya took two wickets each.
