Sri Lanka beat England by 10 wickets, enter World Cup semis

Colombo, March 26 (IANS) Sri Lanka defeated England by 10 wickets in their quarterfinal match of the cricket World Cup here Saturday to set-up a semi-final clash with New Zealand.

Openers Upul Tharanga struck 102 and Tillekaratne Dilshan made 108 as Sri Lanka easily achieved the 230-run target in 39.3 overs at the R.Premedasa Stadium.

Earlier, opting to bat first, England made 229 for six in 50 overs.
