Sports Minister hails bronze medallist Yogeshwar

London, Aug 12 (IANS) India’s Sports Minister Ajay Maken hailed Yogeshwar Dutt after he won the bronze medal in the men’s 66kg category to give the country its fifth medal from the 2012 London Games here Saturday.
“Yogeshwar wins Bronze and India 5th Medal! the hardest worker… the nicest guy… no one deserves it more… True for Yogeshwar, he deserved it!,” Maken tweeted.
“5 Medals in 4 Sports; another 6 or 7 could have just made it; with Sushil Kumar yet to come;this is India’s springboard & bestever Olympics!,” he further tweeted.
This is India’s third medal in Olympic wrestling after both Khashaba Dadasaheb Jadhav and Sushil Kumar won bronze medals in 1952 Helsinki and 2008 Beijing Games.
