Sports Minister Gill hopeful of hockey world cup win
January 23rd, 2010 - 2:30 pm ICT by ANINew Delhi, Jan 23 (ANI): Sports Minister M.S Gill on Saturday said India is ready to host the Hockey World Cup and hopefully win the trophy as well.
Talking to reporters here, Gill said: ” We will host the World Cup there and hopefully win also”.
New Delhi will stage the World Cup Hockey tournament from February 28 to March 13.
Twelve teams - Australia, Argentina, Canada, England, Germany, Korea, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Spain along with the host country India, will be participating in the World Cup. (ANI)
