Spinner Swann happy to stand at second slip

London, Aug 5 (ANI): England off spinner Graeme Swann, who bowled just two overs in his team’s 354-run victory over Pakistan in the first Test at Trent Bridge, is content with the quiet life on the field.

He said: “I’m more than happy to stand at second slip and watch the fast bowlers perform like they did.”

“I’m an inherently lazy person so, if I don’t have to bowl very much, then great! Jimmy Anderson was exceptional last week.

“Now we need to make sure we’re on fire again at Edgbaston. I played here a couple of weeks ago for Notts and the ball swung all over the place for Stuart Broad as he took eight wickets,” The Sun quoted Swann, as saying.

Meanwhile, ex-Pakistan skipper Mohammad Yousuf is due to arrive in London today and rush to Birmingham to prepare for the second Test. (ANI)
