Spain’s La Liga has more quality than Premier League: Ronaldo
July 6th, 2009 - 2:21 pm ICT by ANILondon, July 6 (ANI): Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo has said that Spain’s La Liga has more quality than England’s Premier League.Ron will be unveiled by Real Madrid tonight following his world-record 80-million pound switch from Manchester United.
Ronaldo, 24, said: “The Premier League is a very good competition, but I think that the Spanish league is going to have a little more quality because of the players that are arriving.”
“It’s going to be a magnificent competition in Spain. All the players have a lot of quality and the referees protect the players more,” The Sun quoted him as saying further. (ANI)
