Southee under NZC probe for in-flight incident with female passenger
February 9th, 2011 - 1:02 pm ICT by ANIAuckland, Feb 9(ANI): New Zealand fast bowler Tim Southee was reportedly involved in an incident on the World Cup team’s flight to India.
According to Stuff.co.nz, Southee is being investigated by New Zealand Cricket (NZC) about the incident with a woman on an Emirates flight.
“We won’t making any firm statement until we are sure of the facts,” NZC Chief Executive Justin Vaughan said.
Black Caps manager Dave Currie however said that Southee and the woman were only chatting.
NZC is expected to release a statement soon. (ANI)
