South Africa 294 for four at tea

Chennai, March 30 (IANS) South Africa scored 294 for four wickets in their second innings at tea on the fifth and final day, as the first Test against India headed for a dull draw at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium here Sunday. At the break, Neil McKenzie was batting on 139 and A.B. de Villiers was on nine.

South Africa, who had made 540 in the first innings, now lead by 211 runs. India had posted 627 in their first innings.
