Kolkata, July 10 (IANS) Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly Thursday threatened to opt out of the Bengal cricket team if “some people” did not stop targeting his family, particularly his brother Snehasis. “Some people are saying a lot of things about my family, particularly my brother. If things do not change then I will consider whether I will play at all for Bengal in future,” Ganguly told reporters at his residence here.

Ganguly’s anger is apparently directed at some people close to Jagmohan Dalmia, who has announced that he would contest for the post of president of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), July 29.
