Somdev out of top-100 ranking

New Delhi, Aug 9 (IANS) It turned out to be a shortlived jubilation for India’s Somdev Devvarman, who dropped out of top-100, losing 15 rungs to 111th place in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings released Monday.
Somdev became only the second Indian after Leander Paes when he achieved his career best ranking of 96 last week.
In the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings, Sania Mirza also dropped 15 places to 153rd this week.
In the men’s doubles, Leander Paes remains at the sixth position while Mahesh Bhupathi dropped a place to eighth.
