Sodhi wins double trap gold in Turkey World Cup
September 20th, 2010 - 10:44 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Sep 20 (IANS) India’s double trap shooter Ronjan Singh Sodhi won the gold at the Shotgun World Cup in Izmir, Turkey, Monday.
Sodhi, a world record holder, shot a total of 192 (143 qualification, 49 final) to win the yellow metal ahead of Chinese shooters Mo Junjee (188) and Pan Qiang (187), who won the silver and the bronze, respectively.
Sodhi, who will lead the double trap team in the Commonwealth Games, won the gold in the Lonato World Cup earlier this year with an identical score.
