Soccer Star David Beckham’s Porsche For Sale on Ebay
January 8th, 2011 - 1:40 am ICT by Angela Kaye MasonJan 7 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Fans of the thirty five year old soccer star, David Beckham now have the chance to cruise around in his matt black Porsche.. if they have a couple hundred thousand dollars to bid on eBay that is. The footballers car has been placed up for sale on the popular online auction site, and the bids are nearing one hundred and fifty thousand dollars, according to the latest reports.
England soccer star Beckham has been the owner of the black Porsche 911 Convertible Turbo for two years now. He spent one hundred thousand dollar back in 2008 to buy the car, and went on to spend another fifty thousand dollars to fully customize it, but decided a while back that it was time to get rid of it.
The Los Angeles car dealership known as “Chequered Flag” is selling the car through the eBay site. Beckham is said to be the the sole owner of the car, but, in actuality he no longer has possession of it.
The Porsche has heated seats in the front, and Beckham’s number-23- which is his current jersey number made into the interior of the car. Beckham is playing for the Los Angeles Galaxy and wore the number at Real Madrid.
