Six arrested for betting
March 30th, 2011 - 9:22 pm ICT by IANSAmbala, March 30 (IANS) Six people were arrested from a hotel in Haryana’s Ambala district while they were betting on the semifinal match between Sri Lanka and New Zealand, police said Wednesday.
Police Tuesday laid a trap after getting a tip-off. A laptop, nine mobile phones and fake Indian currency notes of face value of Rs.5,000 were recovered from their possession.
All the accused belonged to Delhi.
