Shooters give India first medal in Asian Games

Guangzhou, Nov 13 (IANS) Shooters gave India the first medal from the Asian Games as the trio of Abhinav Bindra, Gagan Narang and Sanjeev Rajput won the silver in the men’s 10 metre air rifle team event here Saturday.
The Indian trio missed the gold by a point after they shot a total of 1,783 at the Aoti Shooting Range. China won the gold with 1,784, while South Korea got the bronze with 1,780 points.
