Melbourne, Jan 2 (ANI): Shane Watson and his fiance Lee Furlong are supporting a cause close to their hearts-they are the proud ambassadors of McGrath Foundation.

McGrath Foundation is the charity set up in honour of breast cancer victim Jane, wife of retired Australian cricket fast bowler Glenn McGrath.

Watson and Furlong, the Fox Sports commentator, are set to marry in May. And the couple is looking forward to the Sydney Test, which begins tomorrow at the SCG.

“This will be my first pink Test. The foundation is something dear to Lee and myself,” the Daily Telegraph quoted Watson as saying.

“It does mean so much to me being so close to Glenn and to Jane. It’s so important to continue on the legacy that Jane left before she passed away and we’re lucky to be in a position to do our part for it.

“Anything we can do, whatever it is, we will do. I wasn’t part of it last year, but the atmosphere was incredible and it will be an emotional five days for me,” he added.

The third day of the Test will be Jane McGrath Day, and the Ladies Pavilion will be renamed the Jane McGrath Stand for the day’s play. (ANI)
