January 26th, 2011 - 1:11 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, Jan 26 (ANI): Former cricketer Shane Warne’s chat show ‘Warnie’ has topped the list of worst Australian TV program in a poll.
Switched On conducted the poll on more than 2500 readers and 41-year-old Warne’s show received 30.12 percent votes for being the worst.
“Shane Warne made the mistake of making his chat show about him and not his guests,” News.com.au quoted media analyst Steve Allen as saying.
Viewers had many problems with the show, but “TV shows not starting on time” and “too many advertisements” were the main complains.
Next on the list is ‘Hey Hey It’s Saturday’ with 19.74 percent, followed by ‘Cops LAC’ with 17.72 percent, and ‘Beat the Star’ with 11.12 percent.
