Shah Rukh warmly welcomed by fans

Kolkata, April 5 (IANS) Bollywood superstar and co-owner of the home team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) Shah Rukh Khan was Thursday accorded a rapturous welcome by thousands of fans as he entered the Eden Gardens for the team’s opening Indian Premier League-V match against Delhi Daredevils.
The fans who had been waiting for the cinestar as he was busy meeting West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at the state secretariat burst in loud roars of “Shah Rukh, Shah Rukh” and waved frantically at him as they entered the stadium together.
Khan, looking at the pouring sky, reciprocated the gesture throwing kisses and waving at the boisterous crowd.
He also met several children and signed autographs for them.
