Sebastian Telfair Lands With Cleveland Cavaliers

sebWashington, Feb 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Sebastian Telfair, the guard of the basketball team of the Los Angeles Clippers has been transferred to the Cleveland Cavaliers. It had been a three way trade between the Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Clippers and the Washington Wizards. The Cleveland Cavaliers had also acquired Antawn Jamison, the forward of the basketball team of the Washington Wizards. For their part of the bargain, the Cleveland Cavaliers gave up center Zydrunas Ilgauskas, who had been their pick in the first round of the NBA Draft. The announcement was made on Wednesday by Danny Ferry, the General Manager of the Cleveland cavaliers.

Sebastian Telfair had been an obvious choice for the Cleveland Cavaliers, with an average of 4.3 points on a shooting of .404. Other than that, he has also scored on an average 2.9 assists in every 14.9 minutes of each game. This is just the average of the games that he has played in this season only, about 39 in all. His experience is also going to come in handy for the Cleveland Cavaliers, for he has been a professional basketball player for the last five years.

Sebastian Telfair’s career average is about 7.8 points, on a shooting of .390. Overall in his career, he has managed to make on an average 3.9 assists in each game, every 23.6 games. Throughout his career, he had played in 388 games, out of which he had started 181. According to Danny Ferry, Sebastian Telfair was an obvious choice for the team, as he is considered one of the finest point guards in Coney Island, and it was imperative for them to land Sebastian Telfair in order to strengthen their back court.
