tim1 Alaska, Jan 31 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The National Organization for Women has blasted the ‘Going Rogue’ author Sarah Palin, who had expressed displeasure over the group for asking the CBS to withdraw a Tim Tebow advertisement that talks about abortion. In the advertisement Tim Tebow and his mother Pam talk about her decision to not end a difficult pregnancy in the year 1987. Pam went against the doctor’s advice of an abortion, and she gave birth to that baby. And that baby then turned out to be the Heisman-trophy winning University of Florida quarterback, whom many consider the best college football player in a generation.

The ‘Going Rogue’ author Sarah Palin has been a vocal opponent of the abortion rights for long, and she said in her Facebook page that the National Organization for Women’s opposition to the ad put the group in a “ridiculous situation.” The former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, praised NOW for its work calling out “advertisers and networks for airing sexist and demeaning portrayals of women,” wrote that “NOW is looking at the pro-life issue backwards.” Besides this, many other groups have also asked CBS to pull up the advertisement, which is paid by the conservative group Focus on the Family.
