Sandhu in lead in PGTI Qualifying
December 10th, 2009 - 8:45 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Gurgaon, Dec 10 (IANS) Karanjit Singh Sandhu (67, 76, 69) of the DLF Golf and Country Club led the field at the end of round three of the Aircel-PGTI’s Final Qualifying Stage for the 2010 season here Thursday.
Sandhu’s total read four under 212 followed by Delhi’s Anirudh Goyal (76, 70, 69) and Rajiv Kumar Jatiwal (74, 71, 70) of Chandigarh with matching totals of one under 215.
Matloob Ahmed Rana of Pakistan, American Peter Henry Bronson and Nepal’s Shiva Ram Shrestha were a further stroke behind in tied fourth place. At the end of round four, the top 42 (+ ties) will earn full cards for the 2010 Aircel-PGTI season.
