Ryan Harris declared fit to play Perth Test
December 9th, 2010 - 2:12 pm ICT by ANISydney, Dec 8 (ANI): Australian fast bowler Ryan Harris has been passed fit to play the third Test against England.
Ben Hilfenhaus was on stand-by for a return, as is Mitchell Johnson for Doug Bollinger.
Harris was in doubt after injuring his right shoulder during Australia’s crushing loss to England in the second Test in Adelaide.
Australia’s team physiotherapist Alex Kountouris said on Thursday that scans have cleared the Queensland pacer of any damage.
“He is expected to be available for selection in for the third Test in Perth,” The Sydney Morning Herald quoted Kountouris, as saying.
“He was able to bowl during the game unrestricted and scans have cleared him of any significant damage,” he said. (ANI)
