London, Dec 19 (ANI): Ex call girl Helen Wood, who had threesome with soccer ace Wayne Rooney while his wife Coleen was pregnant, has revealed that she fears the day her seven-year-old son would hear about his mum’s seedy past.

“I had to explain to my mum what had been going on. It didn’t go down well but my real fear was for my son,” the Sun quoted her as saying.

“The other mums at the school gates had never really taken to me anyway because I was so much younger than they were and this was the last thing I needed.

“I did get a lot of dirty looks but I was more worried some of the children would hear their parents talking and say something to my little boy - so far I’ve been lucky in that he doesn’t know anything about it.

“The irony is I’d given it all up by the time the story came out. I thought I could put it all behind me.

“I gave up in July when I started seeing a man. I had to tell him what I did and he understood but wanted it to stop - I was so relieved he didn’t hold it against me.

“I’d managed to pay off my debts and can get by now on my student loan until I can get back into full-time work.

“It took a long while to build some self-esteem. For months after I was convinced all men were just looking at me as a sex object and not interested in me. Sadly, my boyfriend and I separated when all the Rooney stuff came out. I’m still heartbroken over it.

“Now I just want to move on. I’m back in full-time education and doing voluntary work as part of my course in social work.”

“I wanted to tell my story so other young girls don’t make the mistake I did and go down that route. No matter how desperate you get, there is nothing worse than going through what I put my mind and body through. When my son is old enough to understand I’ll tell him mummy went through a bad patch and thought it was for the best - but she was wrong.

“We all make mistakes - I just hope women out there can learn from mine,” she added. (ANI)
