London, Feb.28 (ANI): England and Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney is desperate to get his hands on some silverware at the Wembley football stadium.
Rooney is aiming to fulfill a boyhood dream tomorrow by lifting a trophy at Wembley.
Ever since he went to the old Wembley as a nine-year-old Everton fan to see Joe Royles team beat United, he has wanted to get his hands on some silverware there.
Meanwhile, in a related development, Rooney and sportswear giant Nike are asking all players aged 16-24 to Show Your Five in a nationwide tournament.
Barclays Premier League stars will drop in to see the action from over 200 tournaments at Powerleagues in Manchester, Newcastle, London, Birmingham, Glasgow and Liverpool as each of the teams vie to be crowned their citys top team.
Winners from each city will then go head-to-head at the national final for the title of Nike5 Champions. (ANI)
