Rooney tells Nani: Keep supplying to keep score board moving
February 3rd, 2011 - 6:00 pm ICT by ANILondon, Feb 3 (ANI): Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has asked his teammate Nani to keep supplying so that he can keep scoring.
Rooney was furious with Nani in United’s home game against Birmingham 11 days ago when he kept shooting from tight angles rather than crossing.
But after Nani provided a brilliant cross for his second goal in the 3-1 win over Aston Villa on Tuesday night, the striker is demanding more of the same, The Sun reports.
Rooney said: “That is something he can do really well and it would be great to see him do more of it.”
“He has great dribbling skills but he is also a great crosser. If he mixes that up, he will be difficult to mark,” he said. (ANI)
