Rooney furious over rival fans’ sick Twitter taunts about son Kai
May 4th, 2011 - 12:00 pm ICT by ANILondon, May 4 (ANI): Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney was reportedly furious after rival supporters questioned whether he was his son’s dad.
The England star has only recently signed up to the social networking site, but it has not taken long for fans of other teams to unleash a barrage of abuse.
Nathan Robson, a 20-year-old Stoke City follower, baited the hotheaded player over his looks, and then suggested 18-month-old Kai is not really his son.
“Wazzaroon08 biggest ears in football? Wazzaroon08 the babys not yours the babys not yours wayne rooney the babys not yours #justhedad!” the Daily Star quoted Robson, who goes by the user name nathscfc1, as tweeting.
Rooney quickly hit back: “Get a life kid. Ur team needs ur support not me. Bet u never been to a Stoke game. What do they say. Armchair.”
“Armchair haha remember when you used be a normal kid supporting everton? What do they call it disloyal? Money grabbing?” the blogger replied.
Wayne joined Twitter on April 22 and has 360,000 fans. (ANI)
