Roger Federer Once Again Into The Finals Of The Australian Open After Defeating Jo-Wilfried Tsonga

roger2Melbourne, Jan 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Roger Federer, who has been ranked on the number one position by the Association of Tennis Players, for more than two hundred consecutive weeks, once again remained unbeaten. The star tennis player performed in his usual form on the semi-finals of the Australian Open and defeated his opponent, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga to qualify for the finals.

According to the reports, Roger Federer made no mistake during the match and played every stroke with great expertise. The unbeaten tennis player, who has always demonstrated some incredible tennis skills have defeated Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, in the semi-finals on Friday, with a score of 6-2, 6-3 and 6-2. Roger Federer, who appears to be quite invincible, was found in a light mood after the match. In a post match interview, he appreciated the attempts of his opponent and said that Jo-Wilfried Tsonga would recall those moments repeatedly. The outstanding tennis player, who has qualified for the finals of the Australian Open said that at present he does not want to focus on anything else except the final match of the tournament that is scheduled on this Sunday.

The Scottish tennis player, Andy Murray, who has also qualified for the finals of the Australian Open will have to face a tough competition for winning the title match against Roger Federer. The Swiss player Roger Federer has claimed the title of the Australian Open three times. He had been the champion in 2007, 2006 and 2004. However, he could not make much impressive performance in the Australian Open last year and fans hope that he will give his best to win the finals this year. Both the players have a successful record and is expected to play stupendous game in the finals.
