Roger Federer Expresses Support For Tiger Woods

Jan 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Tennis star Roger Federer has expressed his support for troubled golfer Tiger Woods and has added that chances are high that the World No.1 golfer would be back on the golfing course soon.
The much acclaimed tennis player haS revealed in a recent interview that he has been in touch with the troubled golfer after reports surfaced claiming that the Tiger Woods had been involved in multiple illicit affair. At the same time, Roger Federer also added that he hopes to see the champion golfer return to his golfing career after taking care of all the problems confronting the sportsperson.
The 28 year old sportsperson also implied that he did want to comment on the personal life of the ace golfer and emphasized that he followed the way the entire scandal surrounding the World No.1 golfer surfaced, only “from afar”. However, the Swiss tennis star also stressed that the way the entire Tiger woods saga unfolded must have been immensely hard for his family.
Meanwhile, the 15 Grand Slam singles titles winner also added that the amount of attention that entire affair received and the way the sponsors dissociated themselves from the defamed golfer, is indeed scary.
The personal life of Tiger Woods became the subject of much speculation after the ace golfer crashed his SUV outside his Florida home in the month of November. The incident sparked off a sensational sex scandal with the world renowned sportsperson later admitting to have been involved in series of ‘transgressions’.
Following the controversy, Tiger Woods has not been seen in public and has also declared indefinite break from his golfing career.
