Rodriguez’s Homer Steers Yankees To Victory

yankeesNew York, October 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) In the Game 2 of New York Yankees vs Los Angeles Angels, the Yankees scored a victory against the Angels in walk off. The final score of the match read New York Yankees 4 and Los Angeles Angels 3. Game 2 had been quite exciting and most of the time, both the teams had equal scores. However, Yankees played well and the mistakes of Angels made their path to victory much simpler.

Maicer Izturis, the second baseman of the Los Angeles Angels disappointed his team. In thirteenth innings of the match, Izturis had made an error of throwing which led to their loss. With the win over the Angels, the Yankees position became stronger in ALCS as they have 2-0 lead. The Game 3 of the series is scheduled on Monday in Anaheim.

New York Yankees have been playing well in the season. The strong team of the Yankees have formed some excellent strategies that helped them win the match. The strategies that they had formed for the match worked out as there was excellent coordination among players. Gardener’s sacrifice helped Hairston move to second while Cabrera’s grounder moved him to second. Yankees had been playing strategically and took the complete advantage of the mistake made by Izturis.

Alex Rodriguez is having a good form these days. He had made the biggest hit in the Game 2 against Los Angeles Angels. With the hard hit of Rodriguez, Yankees managed to get a 2-0 lead. Los Angeles Angels will have to work hard and make some excellent strategies if they want to win the coming matches of the series.
