Ribery three-match ban puts him out of Champions League final

Nyon (Switzerland), April 28 (DPA) Bayern Munich’s Franck Ribery will miss football’s Champions League final after UEFA imposed a three-match ban on the France midfielder Wednesday.Ribery was sent off in Bayern’s first-leg Champions League semi-final against Olympique Lyon last week.
UEFA’s disciplinary committee has suspended Ribery for three Champions League matches, ruling him out of the May 22 final in Madrid.
Ribery had been automatically suspended for one match as a result of the red card and missed Bayern’s 3-0 win in the second leg in Lyon Tuesday for a 4-0 aggregate score.
