After the game on Sunday, Ryan issued an official apology on Monday. In the apology, the coach said that, “I was emotional, it was an emotional time. I obviously made a mistake. I was full of emotion and just popped off. Obviously, I know I represent the National Football League, I know I represent the Jets, and I know it was a mistake. I apologize for it.”

This is not the first time that Ryan will be in trouble for clashing with fans. The coach was fined $50,000 by the Jets when he gestured to the fans in 2010.
