Sep 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Although the New Orleans Saints on Monday night went on to win against the San Francisco 49ers, the former suffered a heavy loss as one of its running back Reginald Alfred Bush better known as Reggie Bush was escorted out of the field with leg injury. Although initially the extent of injury was not mentioned clearly by the team management, multiple media sources have come up with reports that Reggie Bush has suffered a broken bone in his leg. However, reports claim that the injury is not a season ending one and that the running back might be seen back on field by the sixth week.
Reggie Bush who caught a six-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter of the game, suffered the injury during the fourth quarter. He hurt his leg while recovering a muffed punt during the last seven minutes of play against the San Francisco 49ers. He was seen wreathing with pain after the injury and was attended immediately by trainers. He tried to walk his way out of the field balancing on his right leg, but failed to manage. He was seen falling back and tended once again by physicians who then helped him out of the field. Shortly after the injury, Reggie Bush was taken to the locker-room on a cart.
Reggie Bush this season is playing for the first time since he won the Heisman Trophy back in 2005 while playing for the University of Southern California. The NCAA had back then punished the University after it found that the running back and his family had taken money and gifts from sports agents.
