Washington, Sept 26 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The age-long rivalry between the Washington Redskins and the Dallas Cowboys will be rekindled on Monday night when the two teams match up. The encounter will be the 103rd between the two sides.

The Cowboys are going into the game knowing that they have the general bragging rights having won 60 of the total games played between the two sides. The Redskins have won 40 of the encounters with the remaining two ending in a tie. The stakes doesn’t get any higher during an encounter between the two sides.

Ahead of the game, the debate had been on whether quarterback Tony Romo will be available after the knock that he has suffered. The Cowboys will have to play the game with their leading receiver Miles Austin because he is on the injury. However wide-out Dez Bryant is 50/50 for the team and they are praying for a last minute match-fitness test.

The Cowboys got the season started on the wrong foot but they readjusted to beat San Francisco 27-24. The Redskins on the other hand have had a perfect season this campaign. In a tight game against Arizona, the Redskins won 22-21 in the second week of the season.
