Cincinnati, July 28, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Terrell Owens is all set to join receiver Chad Ochocinco in Cincinnati Bengals. As per the National Football League website, the team has agreed to a one year $2 million contract with the receiver. The $2 million contract comes with another two million in bonuses. Although the team is yet to make a formal announcement of the deal, the news of the agreement between the player and the Cincinnati Bengals team was confirmed by Chad Ochocinco and Marvin Lewis, the head coach of Cincinnati Bengals. While Chad Ochocinco welcome the player into the team via Twitter, Marvin Lewis’ statement regarding the inclusion of Terrell Owens was posted on the website of the National Football League.

Receiver Chad Ochocinco mentioned on his Twitter post that Terrell Owens is officially a member of the Cincinnati Bengals. The receiver added “Cincy let’s welcome him with open arms, it’s on now!” Marvin Lewis reportedly said to the media source that the team of Cincinnati Bengals is pleased and excited to have the new player in the team. The head coach praised the player as a proven, productive one who will undoubtedly help in the development of the team’s performance. According to Marvin Lewis, the deal with Terrell Owens is a big move on the part of Cincinnati Bengals and the team is looking forward to the player’s contribution.

The 36-year-old Terrell Owens completed his last year with the Buffalo Bills team. Apart from five touchdowns to his credit, Terrell Owens caught 55 passes for 829 yards. The veteran player had in the past 14 years been associated with San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys.
