Real Madrid not ready to continue with Adebayor

London, Apr 27 (ANI): Real Madrid is not ready to continue with on loan Emmanuel Adebayor as parent club Manchester City’s asking price is too high for the striker.
Adebayor, 27, has scored four goals, two of them against Tottenham in the Champions League, in his short stint at the Bernabeu.
Adebayor was delighted to land the first major trophy of his career last week, when Real beat rivals Barcelona 1-0 in the Copa del Rey final.
But City’s asking price of 12 million pounds for a player who cost them 25 million pounds from Arsenal in 2009, plus the player’s wage demands, has put Real Madrid off - especially as their striking situation has changed.
City boss Roberto Mancini, who could be about to lose striker Carlos Tevez, will be ready to welcome Adebayor back.
“At the end of the season, we will see. If Emmanuel wants to stay here, he can,” Mancini said.(ANI)
