Randy Moss Claimed by Tennessee Titans
November 12th, 2010 - 1:29 am ICT by Angela Kaye MasonNov 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) One day after being released by the Minnesota Vikings, Randy Moss was passed by several teams, such as Oakland, St Louis, Miami, and Washington, to be claimed by the Tennessee Titans, who were number 22 in position on the waiver list.
Moss has played for three different teams now, with the Titans as third, during the 2010 season. He started his year off as a New England Patriot, and was traded to the Minnesota Vikings early in the month of October.
The coach of the Titans would not speak of the interest his team had in Moss, but did say earlier on Wednesday that the players had said that they hoped their team would try and get him. Quarterback Kerry Collins, who played with Moss in 2005 for Oakland stated to the Tennessean, “He was respectful, he was a team guy. I think a lot of stuff you see and hear gets overblown. The guy speaks his mind, is very truthful with what he says and that doesn’t always play well. But as far as what kind of guy and teammate he is … he was a great teammate and I never had a problem with him.”
The contract which Moss is currently under will expire with the end of the 2010 season, making him a free agent at that time without restrictions.
