Rafa believes Liverpool can still snare Premier League title
March 15th, 2009 - 2:54 pm ICT by ANI London, Mar.15 (ANI): Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez 100th league win has convinced him that his side can still win this years Premier League title.
The Sunday Express quoted him as saying: If we can beat United and Real, we can beat anybody. Now we have to be concentrated, work hard and make no mistakes if we are going to challenge for the title.
It depends on United because they will have to lose some games and we have to win everything. But we are certainly in a better position than before this game. But this isnt the best week Ive had. The best week is when you win titles, he added.
I am really pleased for the players, the fans and the staff. Weve just scored four goals against two very difficult teams. We knew we had to win. After 30 minutes we were playing with more confidence and were controlling the game. This has given us more confidence for the rest of the season, Rafa claimed. (ANI)
