kellene-mooreSep 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Coming from a humble background, Boise State University Broncos proved on Monday night that the team is ought to be taken seriously in seasons to come by others. From the beginning till the end, the Boise State University players showed the spectators at FedEx stadium what the game of football means and how a game can be won even in the last few seconds. While there is no denying of the fact that Boise State emerged as a compact team, players who caught the attention most were quarterback Kellene Moore and wide receiver Austin Pettis.

Both Kellene Moore and Austin Pettis came forward with some great play. It is their quickness and speed on field that brought success to the Boise State University team that was trailing behind the Virginia Tech University in the fourth quarter. The Virginia Tech University team could have easily broken its opening game losing streak this time if Kellene Moore had failed the touchdown pass to Austin Pettis. However, it was not only a game in which Boise State needed to prove itself, it was also a game in which quarterback Kellene Moore needed to prove his worth.

In the fourth quarter the Boise State University team was trailing behind by 30-26 and the Virginia Tech Quarterback combo Ryan Williams and Tyrod Taylor seemed to have emerged strong enough. Hardly two minutes remaining for the game, Kellene Moore went for his third touchdown pass in the game, a brilliant 13-yard touchdown pass to Austin Pettis who did not miss the opportunity to add those winning points to the team. The duo is now hoping to make the same amazing show at Wyoming.
