quarterSep 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It is just the beginning of the first day of College football and Michigan Wolverines’ sophomore quarterback Denard Robinson made it clear that he is here to stay. The Michigan Wolverines went for a 30-10 win over the Connecticut Huskies on Saturday, and there is no denying the fact that it was Denard Robinson who played the major role in bringing the success to the team. From viewers to teammates to coach, Denard Robinson was the point of discussion on every lips.

The Michigan Wolverines quarterback Denard Robinson went for 197 yard in his first start, breaking every previous Michigan record for rushing yards in a single game. As per reports, Denard Robinson did not have a clue even on Friday night that he might have to start on Saturday, however once endowed with the task, the Deerfield Beach quarterback left not a single stone unturned to do justice to the position. At the end of the game, Denard Robinson had completed 19 out of the total 22 passes for 186 yards and carried 29 times for 197. At one point during the play his speed out shined that of all defenders and it seemed that all others were moving slow enough.

After the play, it was not only the fans of Michigan Wolverines who praised Denard Robinson, but also the Coach of Connecticut Huskies who now and then referred to the player as one of the biggest difference in the game. In whatsoever way Coach Randy Edsall tried to analyze the play of Connecticut Huskies, he came back to Denard Robinson to mention that the young player is “an outstanding athlete”
