Qantas passengers say they were not told about emergency landing
April 13th, 2011 - 10:06 am ICT by ANISydney, Apr.13 (ANI): Passengers on board Qantas flight QF 50 said Wednesday that crew did not inform them about the emegency landing at Sydney Airport until they were on the ground.
The flight came in from Auckland, New Zealand, news.com.au reports.
A Qantas spokesman said the 138 passengers on board disembarked safely and said reports of engine troubles or fuel leaks were false.
“The engineers are currently replacing a fuel transfer valve and expect to have it back in the air later this morning,” he said. (ANI)
