Prime Minister David Cameron Congratulates Europe On Ryder Cup Win

came United Kingdom Prime Minister David Cameron has congratulated the European team led by Colin Montgomerie for registering a scintillating win in the Ryder Cup. The Scottish golf player lifted the much-coveted Ryder Cup after a nerve-wrecking victory over the United States team, to the utter delight of the large number of European fans. The impressive performance that the European team displayed by winning through the tightest of margins has received wide accolades not only from the fans but also from the United Kingdom Prime Minister as well.

While reacting to the spectacular win reserved by Colin Montgomerie and his teammates, Prime Minister David Cameron offered his congratulations to the winning side while adding that the drama that unfolded at the Celtic Manor on Monday which was ‘played in the Welsh sunshine’ would be long remembered by all. At the same time, the United Kingdom Prime Minister also lauded the fans who were present in large numbers at Celtic Manor to witness Europe’s Ryder Cup victory saying that the crowds ‘more than played their part.’

During the extra day of the event’s final match at the Celtic Manor, the European team emerged victorious through the tightest of margins 14 1/2-13 1/2 to defeat Hunter Mahan and his team members to lift the Ryder Cup. Following the victory, Colin Montgomerie told reporters that every player in his team contributed immensely to get to the magical score of 14 1/2 that has been his dream for the last two years. Moreover, the European captain also went on to congratulate all the 12 players for doing a magnificent job.
