obama4Washington, Mar 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) With the NCAA Basketball Tournament having begun, and brackets being predicted everywhere, no one is spared by the March Madness. Not even the busiest man in the country, that is, the President. On Tuesday, President Barack Obama took out some time from his busy schedule and filled out the forms for the NCAA brackets, for a well known sports channel. The complete list of the brackets are due to be announced on Wednesday, according to the reports of the sports channel.

This is the second time that President Barack Obama has filled out the brackets for the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. However, this is the first time that he is filling the bracket for the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament. The President predicted that in the men’s tournament, the ones to compete in the Final Four leg would be Kentucky, Kansas, Villanova and Kansas State. In the Women’s tournament, the Final Four, President Barack Obama feels, would consist of Notre Dame, Tennessee, Stanford and Connecticut.

There were some things that were, however, noticeable in the President’s selection of potential winners. He did not seem to be too eager on choosing any team that has not already been predicted as a possible winner of the tournament. All the teams that he has picked, be it in the men’s tournament or the women’s, are safe, and there are not likely to be much upsets. It seems pretty obvious that he would like to carry on his victorious stint from last year, when he had chosen North Carolina, who had gone on to be the winners of the National Championships.
